Cecelia "CeCe" Mitchell
Cecelia "CeCe" Mitchell was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, and is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson Senior High School, class of 1976. She is the mother of two children and four grandchildren.
She founded Hands of Hope - Sickle Cell Awareness Foundation in May of 2013.
She is the proud parent of 2 children, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
After dedicated 35 years of service to the University of South Florida, she retired in 2019.

Atiya Anderson
Secretary
Atiya Anderson is a Tampa native who graduated from Hillsborough High School. She is currently studying Psychology and working at a local coffee shop. Whenever she is not spending her time helping out in the community, she enjoys roller skating and spending time with her family.

Rodney Jones
Grant Coordinator
Rodney Jones is originally from Washington DC, is a graduate of Howard University and the University of Tampa. Rodney has a great amount of experience utilizing his MBA and Marketing degree. He comes to us from working at Owens Corning, a Fortune 100 firm, being a marketing manager and volunteering as a small business mentor.

Jessica Wakefield, C.P.P.
Public Relations Coordinator
Originally from Vermont with a BA from Auburn University, certified professional photographer Jess Wakefield brings a variety of talent and experience to HOH. She plans to increase exposure of HOH to Tampa Bay by increasing community involvement & support.
